Our Whitening Options

Before we begin whitening treatments, we will schedule a consultation to discuss your goals, your lifestyle, and any other relevant information. From there, we will determine which method is right for you: at-home whitening or in-office whitening.

In-Office Whitening

Our in-office whitening treatments are designed to give you noticeably whiter teeth within a single treatment. This method uses a stronger whitening compound without compromising your safety or causing significant sensitivity after your treatment.

Once we’ve prepared your mouth for the treatment, we will apply a layer of our whitening gel to your teeth. Using a special LED lamp, we will activate the whitening gel. This process will be repeated three times, completing the entire treatment within 45 minutes or so. Finally, we will apply a post-treatment gel which can help protect your enamel and reduce the sensitivity of your teeth.

At-Home Whitening

The at-home whitening kits we offer allow you to whiten your teeth on your own schedule. While the compound available in this kit is not as potent as the one used for in-office treatments, it can still produce noticeable results within two weeks. Many patients report little to no sensitivity after their at-home treatments.

If you choose the take-home method of whitening, we will supply you with a kit which contains customized dental trays as well as tooth whitening gel. To use your kit, begin by brushing your teeth. Then, simply place a small drop of tooth whitening gel into each indentation of your tray.

Apply your trays to your teeth, leaving them in place for the designated period of time. Once you have reached your time limit, remove your trays and thoroughly rinse your teeth with cold water.
