Dental Cleanings

Even patients with the best dental hygiene routine require dental cleanings. There are areas of your mouth that can’t be cleaned adequately with a toothbrush or dental floss. Our dental cleanings are performed by professional dental hygienists who have both the tools and expertise to thoroughly clean every area of your mouth, including the ones that are difficult to reach with a standard toothbrush and floss.

How Often Do I Need a Cleaning?

You need to have your teeth professionally cleaned at least twice a year, or every 6 months. Maintaining this regular schedule prevents plaque, tartar, and bacteria from building up inside your mouth. Regular dental cleanings also allow us to monitor your dental hygiene habits and ensure that your technique is giving you the best possible clean on a daily basis.

Preventing Gingivitis Through Lasers

Studies indicate that laser therapy can help treat gum disease and prolong the therapeutic effects of other gum disease treatments. Method Dental is pleased to offer periodontal laser treatments as part of our commitment to scientific advancements within the field of dentistry.

Dental Exams

You’re very likely to notice a cavity if it’s causing you a toothache or other symptoms. However, it’s not uncommon for cavities and other potential dental issues to develop without causing you pain or noticeable symptoms. Dental exams allow a team of dental professionals to evaluate your dental health and look for any indicators of disease and other potential issues.

It’s best to have your teeth examined after they’ve been professionally cleaned as this gives the dentist a better view of your oral health.

How Often Do I Need an Exam?

Just like with dental cleanings, you should have your teeth examined professionally twice a year or every six months. When given the opportunity, gum disease and other oral health issues can develop very quickly. Maintaining a semi-annual dental exam schedule allows us to detect any potential problems before they become too significant.
